'Vernacular Brooch' - Sterling Silver, Steel. -2019. An analysis of brutalist and vernacular architecture.
One typically seen as dated and imposing, the other romanticised for its its history and charm. I would argue that the beauty in brutalism is to be found in its similarities to vernacular architecture. Both use systems of design to create something that serves utility over aesthetic value. Both outcomes are beautiful once your recognise visual systems they follow.

Nursing homes have been hit harder then any other sector of our healthcare systems and their in need of our support. The money raised from this fundraiser will go directly to frontline staff to purchase PPE and provide relief to these people working tirelessly and putting their lives on the line to care for our elderly.
